The Hawbridge Sports program offered four sports during the 2016-2017 school year, allowing students to compete in soccer (fall), cross country (fall), basketball (fall/winter) and ultimate frisbee (spring) competitions. Students compete in the CCAL (Central Carolina Athletic League) league with other small to middle sized charter and independent schools across the triangle. The school will be adding a girls volleyball team during the 2017-2018 school year.
Hawbridge students are expected to maintain a rigorous academic standard in order to participate in sports as well as being role models for the school community in general. Students, parents and the local community are proud participants in this athletic program donating time, money and assistance. We are grateful for their co-operation without which this program could not operate.
