Come camping with us for two nights at the Tea Creek campground in the Monongahela National Forest beside the pristine Williams River. Replete with outstanding places for outdoor adventure, including waterfalls, hikes, cranberry bogs and numerous shale and limestone outcrops filled with Paleozoic invertebrate fossils, this area is one of those “best kept secrets” as it’s off the beaten path. Mr. Greenberg and Mr. Mayer will be with us as resident geologist and botanist as we hike and experience the natural world of this unique part of WV. We will also visit the Green Bank Observatory which is the eastern U.S. equivalent of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory’s VLA (Very Large Array) in New Mexico.
