I trust this post finds each of you doing well. We hope parent-teacher conferences have been productive for you and your child(ren). We understand it is a busy, fast-paced time, but want you to know that if you need follow-up conferences, we are always willing to meet with you. Please just let the respective teacher(s) know, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Hawbridge Expansion Update
The Board of Directors and I would like to inform the community of some recent action steps that have been taken towards the possible expansion of The Hawbridge School. The Board has selected an architecture firm to begin exploring the possibilities of expansion, what that expansion can look like, and any subsequent next steps. The Board has formed an expansion sub-committee, consisting of board members, faculty members, and community members. Any next steps regarding expansion, after a feasibility report is completed, will include community forums for all members of our Hawbridge family to better understand the vision and for the sub-committee to solicit feedback on the expansion possibilities.
We would like to stress that any and all steps taken thus far are in the spirit of possibilities. Truly no decisions have been made except to explore the possibility of an expansion and the many forms in which that expansion could take. These are exciting times, and we look forward to working together.

The 2017-2018 school calendar was approved by the Board of Directors on Wednesday, October 19. We will make a more formal announcement early next week, but in short, the adopted calendar is downloadable here. There were some minor changes, based upon feedback received from the parent survey. We value your input and try to honor it.
